Buhay Aroma Beach

Are Judge Ma.Teresa Yadao & Agnes Quintos related?

There's a claim then by the Villarosa camp that Agnes Quintos, the mother of the victims in the infamous & controversial Quintos Double Slay is a relative of Judge Teresita Yadao, to what degree of consanguinity or affinity they didn't provide any details or I entirely missed it.

I forgot about it thinking they are just sour graping, but today being Holy Thursday I got a lot of time on my hands and the Quintos Double Slay being hot news again, I remembered that claim and try searching about any evidence in the web. And these are the interesting excerpts from two different web pages I stumbled upon:
"Tesorio, a member of the National Union of Journalists of the Philippines and a former correspondent of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, was released from detention at around 7 p.m. After posting bail at 9 a.m., Tesorio had to wait for the release order of Quezon City Branch 81 Judge Ma. Teresa dela Torre Yadao who is reportedly known to sign release orders only at 3 p.m. Yadao signed the release order at 5 p.m. and Tesorio was released from detention at around 7 p.m."
bold emphasis are mine

Source click here or for easy verification since the first strings I used in Googling before was just Judge+Yadao, but since we already know her middle(?) or maiden name(?) now just try searching Judge Ma. Teresa dela Torre Yadao on Google.

And here's for Agnes Quintos, Ding's wife:

"The Deed of Mortgage executed by GCFI in favor of NIDC,with Ricardo Quintos as accommodation mortgagor, the Pledge Agreement by Ricardo Quintos as stockholder, pledging his shares of stock in favor of NIDC, the Surety Agreement, with Mr. Quintos as surety, and the Deed of Undertaking, with Mr. Quintos as one of the obligors, all of these contracts executed on December 19, 1975, and with the conformity of Mr. Quintos’ wife, Agnes dela Torre."

bold emphasis are mine

Source click here

Obviously we need more than these to conclusively conclude if the two are really related and for that we need the resources or help of the mainstream media, but I couldn't help to ask did the mainstream media missed these? Or was it I who missed it being tackled in the mainstream media.

Silent War Zone

While No Fly Zone was implemented on Makati's Business District yesterday afternoon, the familiar sounds of military choppers filled the air dito sa San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. May tsismis kasi na walong Philippine Army na ang namamatay since nagsimula ang encounter/operation ng PA against the NPA which started two weeks ago if I remember right, including--according to a reliable source--a Commanding Officer of the Army, of what rank cannot be determine.

But with the almost everyday sounds of war filling the air and my personal sighting of two APC vehicles, I can reasonably assume galit na galit ang mga Army.

Here are some photos of the Mangyan evacuees displaced by war, taken by an NGO during their relief mission:

No Fly Zone

Malaki kasi ang discrepancy between estimate ng pulis at ng Organizers, BAYAN & Binay put it at 80, 000 while the police put it at unbelievable 15,000 only. Between the two , mukhang mas malapit ang estimate ng organizers sa true figure. Dagdag pa ang No Fly Zone order ng ATO in an attempt to prevent an independent estimate.

Siga Culture

I love the feel & smell of cool fresh breeze during mornings whether by the beach, just inside our home or in the yard. Alas, an elderly neighbor who lives a few houses away from mine has this nasty habit of burning his garbage during early mornings ; spoiling my period of short calm before I start the day. But the Old Man's garbage burning ways is more of a rule here-- on this part of the world-- than an exemption, burning of garbage early morning or late afternoon is a nasty habit of the local populace. I don't know if these people knew that if you burn those garbage then you just convert those garbage from its solid form to its gas form or in plain term as someone in ANC quip "nilipat mo lang ang basura sa hangin", between the two it's plain common sense which is more toxic.

The bad thing is even Government employees or Government itself resolved their garbage problem by burning it. I don't know who's their idiotic supervisor is but I remember cursing him or her under my breath during a rare dawn run in the municipal plaza. Every drum cum garbage bins place strategically around the oval were being burned creating a thick smog engulfing the plaza, inducing a cough reminiscent of my ganja puffing days.

Even some local educators adapted this moronic ways, during one of my Saturday morning sojourns at the beach, I chanced upon CAT students of OMNC--I don't know if they are from the main campus or the satellite campuses--gathering garbages like driftwoods, plastic cups carelessly thrown away by taho eaters and other plastic garbages irresponsible citizens bought or brought at the beach. After the activity mounds of burning garbages now lined the beach, emitting fumes in the air! Ruining my rare intake of salty air and more importantly defeating their purpose of trying to clean the environment.

These small yet significant & yet nasty things keep on happening amidst the passage of Clean Air Act, the law lobbied by Greenpeace Philippines which won Goldman Enviromental Prize award for their Campaign Director now Greenpeace Southeast Asia Campaign Director Von Hernandez. But alas like any existing Philippine Law, just or unjust, the problem as always is on its implementation.

In the beginning

In the beginning I'm at lost where to start hehe....Hello everyone this is Wired Mangyan signing in, yeah I would like to keep that pen name or blog name and keep my real identity anonymous lest the political & media killings happening around the country spill into blogs. I'll update you with everything & anything that is going on around Mindoro especially in its Western Coast Mindoro Occidental, where I reside & maybe even beyond.

I noticed since staying here for good in year 2000 AD that the media here in Mindoro Occidental is either a propagandist of Nene & company or the Villarosas' JTV, Girlie & company. An independent & adversarial media does not exist in Mindoro Occidental, local newspapers & radio stations always trumpets the supposedly good thing that Elected & Public Officials had done. But leaving controversies, political & socio-economic issues out of their headlines, opinion sections, radio talks etc. thus effectively managing to keep the public uninformed or much worst, misinformed. Such situation inspired me to try blogging and maybe just maybe could at least help to make part of the buried stories seep aboveground.
