Silent War Zone

While No Fly Zone was implemented on Makati's Business District yesterday afternoon, the familiar sounds of military choppers filled the air dito sa San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. May tsismis kasi na walong Philippine Army na ang namamatay since nagsimula ang encounter/operation ng PA against the NPA which started two weeks ago if I remember right, including--according to a reliable source--a Commanding Officer of the Army, of what rank cannot be determine.

Nagtataka lang ako kung ba't walang balita sa Mainstream Media, baka my withholding of information, mahilig naman kasi ang Army na huwag ipaalam sa media kung hindi sila makakapogi points. But with the almost everyday sounds of war filling the air and my personal sighting of two APC vehicles, I can reasonably assume galit na galit ang mga Army. Ang kawawa lang dito lagi eh yung mga sibilyan na nadidisplace pag may ganitong mga malakihang military operation, karamihan sa mga nadidisplace eh yung mga kababayan nating mga Mangyans.
